Hey there guys 🙂
Remember the previous post when I said that my life was so over the top at the moment… Well, it’s kinda getting even worse. I mean, exams are over and that is great but now we are renovating, which is great and not so great. Great because we always wished to renovate the 2nd bathroom and not so great because we didn’t wanted to do it right now or under these kind of circumstances. Basically, we had a little ” encounter ” with a certain ” someone ” and we decided it is time to fix that ” rat hole “. So now, we are dealing with dust EVERYWHERE, literally, a lot of work to do, other plans running in the mean time, getting new furniture, etc. But we are never bored so that is good 🙂
This was just a ” heads up “and a fill in of what happened since my last post. Which brings me to the big question : How are you guys? What are you up to ? Have you finished your exams ? Are you happy with how it went? Fill me in please, I would love to know.
So I just sat down on my bed and decided that no matter what I am going to write about, a post will go up today. And that is the reason I am still rambling to this point. The truth is, I don’t have the time, the space or the intimacy ( I have builders in my house ) to shoot something interesting or fun. The weather is not great, it is literally raining and raining and I don’t really know how to make this post work. But I am going to put it up because I know you will be happy to see it despite the lack of interesting/fun content. If everything goes as planned soon we’ll be back on track (1-2 weeks max) and we’ll be rockin’ this blog again, together, you and me. I have so many ideas for this year and so many creative thoughts and I can barely wait to share those with you. We’ll get there. There is a sort of quote, I guess, which says ” Every experience, good or bad, is a priceless collector’s item ” and I bloody love this.
Moving further to other stuff, since the last time we spoke, me and my boyfriend decided to have a ” one night stand ” somewhere in the mountains. To be fair, this winter sucks. We had barely no snow, just rain. So we packed our car, drove about 100 km from our town and ” landed ” in heaven. Seriously guys, I don’t know if this place was so great in our eyes because we were literally exhausted from the everyday routine, or because it is really that amazing, but for us, for that one short night, it was like heaven. And what made it ever more amazing was the lack of service. I have to admit it, it was bit annoying at first because we are so used to be constantly checking our phone, but once we opened our eyes and see what was standing right in front of us, we had the time of our life. There was so much snow which leads to so much fun. And the fact that there was just the two of us made it even more fun and special. We played, we had snow fights, we ate good food, we walked, we had the best time basically.
We booked a room with a view of the amazing dam, in the only hotel there and let me tell you it was the best one I have ever stayed it. And just because of the amazing view. Maybe for some of you it may not seem such a “wow” place but trust me when I say that photos can’t recreate that real feeling. I will insert you some of the photos we took ( with our phones, I stupidly decided not to bring my camera along ) until the next post. We are planning on going back like next week or so for my boyfriends birthday and I will try to do a proper photo shoot if you would like me too. But yeah, I though I will just share our experience with you guys, who knows, maybe you’ll go on 2 day trip soon as well. One piece of advice I can give you is that no matter where you leave, there are always great places to visit just next to you and make sure to make the most of each season, because each one has it sparks.
I think this is for now guys, thanks for being the best readers ever and the most understanding ones, and I promise that this blog will rise and shine very soon. Keep an eye open and stay tuned for that. Make sure to share your thoughts with us in the comment section down bellow or over on the social media, check out the other posts too maybe you’ll find something up of your street and if you love the concept of this blog make sure to share it with your friends as well.
