Hello peeps 🙂

I know that I am a bit late with my August favourites but I wanna write this post anyway. I’ve been enjoying a lot of bits and pieces throughout August so compressing them was not an easy task, but I did it. Beside makeup and beauty, I also picked some random things only because these were also things I’ve been enjoying and I love hearing about others random picks myself.

Makeup first. If you have read my mini makeup haul that I wrote recently, it will be no surprise that most of the stuff I enjoyed last month are mentioned there aswell. So go check that out if you wanna know more details about  an item because I’m gonna try to keep it short in this post. As I said before, my trusty Maybelline Fit me conceler is probably my favourite makeup item at the moment. I am not gonna ramble too much about it though. It has great coverage, looks natural, very affordable. Shortly a ” must have “. Along with it there is also the Bourjois Radiance Reveal concealear, wich I use for under my eyes. You wanna own a concealer that makes you look like you always have the best night sleep ? This is the one. I mentioned this before, you have to try it, especially if you struggle with bad dark circles. The other makeup item I reached for during the summer is the wax pot from the Rimmel Brow kit. No plain effect from the powder, gives you definition, stays in place.

Shortly these are some of the things I’ve been enjoying this August wich are also mentioned in a previous post.

Now I am gonna talk you through some new favourites. For example, the mascara I have been loving lately is the Astor Big & Beautiful Boom       one. I have short and almost invisible eyelashes so I always need something to build them with. Beside my all time favourite Maybelline Lash Sensational, the Astor one made in one of my favourites this month. It is a thick, very black mascara. I know some people might not like the idea of a think mascara but for me it works the best. I’m gonna throw this out now, during summer holiday  I ran out of 3 of the products including this one, the shampoo and the liquid lipstick, so as soon as my Feelunique order arrives I am going to insert those pictures and you will be able to see what am I talking about.

The next thing on my list is a lip product and it is the Nyx Lingerie Lace Detail. This one is the perfect pinky nude for me. It dries up in a very pretty matte formula without leaving your lips feeling too dry. It is very pigmented and it also is such a good value of money considering the look it gives you. Totally recommend to check that out and the variety of colours they have.

Talking about summer season, bronzer was a staple. The one I have been loving, the entirety of summer to be fair, is the Flormar Terracotta Powder. It is a combination between a gold highlighter and a shimmery bronzer. If I am being completely honest, I have to say I was soo scared to use this when I first bought it. I usually tend to use a matte bronzer and just a touch of highlight but since I tried it I can’t get my hands of it. Neitherless to say that beside a bit of matte contour this stuff was by bronzer, my blusher and my highlighter, all in one making my skin glowy and dewy. Made it easier and prettier.

This August I also rediscovered my old Naked 3 palette and the entirety of the month the shade Trick in combination with Dust or the golden part of the bronzer were my ” go to ” eyeshadow picks. Nice and natural.

Keeping it about beauty, there are 3 beauty bits I thought are worth mentioning. First one is the Silverising Shampoo from Osmo. Because I have blonde hair it is essential for me to try and erase the yellow bits in my hair. Since I have found this shampoo on Feelunique I have fallen in love again with my hair. It gives it such a nice shade, glow and also is making the yellow dissapear.  Again, a must have for blonde hair. The second item on my list is the Avene micellar water and the thermal spray. My God, I could ramble about this for hours and it would  not be enough. Shortly, I have acnee prone skin as you might all know by now, greasy and difficult to handle during the summer. With this stuff and especially with the spray everything was easier. Every now and then I sprayed the thermal water on my clean face and it worked miracles. I lived in this throughout summer without struggling with spots or dry skin. And the last item is the Zara Rose perfume. As I mentioned before, I like to own some highstreet scents to carry around with me. The Zara one was my favourite during this summer because it has a fruity, fresh and light scent. Few sprits during the day and you feel like a new person. Trust me.

On the more  randomly side… I am coffee person and I really need my coffee to be great quality. The one I have been loving this month, beside the one at the hotel we stayed in Croatia, is the Starbucks Guatemala Huehuetenango one. I like my coffee well roasted and intense. This one has them both.

Even if we speak about August and summer, candles were always a favourite of mine. So my new love, candle wise. is my Stephen Cordina Ylang Ylang & Mandarin Soy Candle. I wanna have this lid all day and night. It just has such a fresh and cosy, intense scent, it lasts soo long and is such a great value of money.

For carrying things around  I have been loving my embroided Stradivarius shoulder bag. Small ,compact and stylish. I take this even now with me everywhere I go without fail. And I am sure it will stay a favourite of mine as long as it lasts. Along with my bag I have been obsessed recently with my Daniel Klein watch. This was actually a christmas gift from my boyfriend last year, but somehow during August I never went out without wearing it. And when I say never I mean it. I just think that it instantly transforms your outfit and makes the best accesorry.

I don’t want this post to be too long so I am gonna stop here for now. I really hope you liked this type of post and that you found it useful.
